Our Services

Wellness & Preventative Care

At your pet's wellness appointment he or she will have a thorough physical exam. We will discuss any questions or concerns that you have about your pet and provide education so that you can make informed health care decisions for him or her. Vaccination and parasite preventative recommendations will be based on the individual patient's needs and risk factors. Lab work may be recommended depending on your pet's age and condition. We believe it is best to identify potential health problems early when they are usually the most treatable.

Medical Care For Illness & Injury

We understand that your pet is part of the family and it is stressful when your pet is not feeling well. Laboratory testing, digital radiographs and other diagnostic tests are available on site to help us diagnose and treat your pet. We will keep you informed every step of the way and help you understand recommendations and options for treatment of your pet's illness.

Surgery

We offer spay and neuter surgeries for dogs and cats as well as many other surgical procedures. Your pet's comfort and safety is our highest priority. All surgery patients are given pain medication as part of their anesthetic protocol and are sent home with pain medication during the recovery period. Your pet's anesthesia plan will always be customized to their individual health condition. Vital signs are closely monitored during the anesthesia process by a skilled veterinary technician. When your pet is ready to go home we will provide detailed instructions for care of your pet during recovery and answer any questions you may have.

Dentistry

All of our dental procedures are performed under anesthesia and include a complete oral exam, tooth cleaning and digital dental radiographs. Your pet's comfort and safety is our highest priority. Vital signs are closely monitored during the anesthesia process by a skilled veterinary technician. Many of our dental patients are older pets with chronic health conditions. Our philosophy is that 'age is not a disease' and that dental care can greatly improve quality of life for senior pets. We do recommend pre-anesthetic bloodwork for all patients and require it for senior patients. In some cases other pre-anesthetic testing may be recommended by the veterinarian. Your pet's anesthesia plan will be customized based on his or her individual health status.

Digital dental radiographs are included with all dental cleanings. In dogs and cats almost half of the tooth structure is located below the gumline. Radiographs help us to accurately assess the condition of each tooth in your pet's mouth. If extraction of diseased teeth is necessary your pet will be given excellent pain control both during and after the procedure to ensure a comfortable recovery process.
